An NFT art show by ODESZA & JapaneseDad composed of excavated ideas from our years long collaboration as artists. REMNANTS is a resurrection of artistic concepts lost to time and scattered across hard drives. We unearthed our past to inspire our future, revitalizing forgotten inspirations through the lens of our current experience. REMNANTS embodies the rebirth of lost artifacts informing our future history now forever preserved on the blockchain.
ODESZA is a 3x Grammy-nominated electronic duo based in Seattle. Their unique and immediately recognizable sound has brought them international acclaim, amassing over 5 billion streams and holding multiple gold & platinum records/singles. Across numerous sold out tours and top selling albums, ODESZA have explored the intersection of storytelling and music through both sound and visual accompaniment. Known for their incredible live shows which feature immersive visuals, ODESZA have performed for hundreds of thousands of concertgoers around the world. They have headlined Coachella, Lollapalooza and brought their incredible ‘A Moment Apart’ tour to a close with two sold out shows at LA’s State Historic Park. They are currently working on their fourth studio album and are excited to continue to innovate new methods of art and storytelling.
Sound is the foundation of JapaneseDad’s synesthetic process of pairing motion to music. His work with ODESZA spans years, creating immersive cinematic visuals which achieve startling symbiosis with the music. His work in the arena of live shows has garnered international praise and has led to collaborations with Will Smith, League of LegendsWorlds XR, Major Lazer, Whitney Houston, and the 2020 Country Music Awards. JapaneseDad has also collaborated with renowned visual artists Steve Teeple, LandisTanaka & Victor Mosquera. ODESZA & JapaneseDad are excited to continue their collaboration in the world of NFT art. REMNANTS represents their first foray into this new medium of art, they look forward to joining this community of artists and innovators who are developing a new realm for the creation and appreciation of art.
A portion of proceeds from this show will be pledged to Carbon180 in their efforts to offset and reduce carbon emissions.
