5 Illustrations of a place he might, or not, have been

He started to feel a sense of familiarity with the place. He couldn't shake the feeling that they had been there before. He went back to the hotel room and started to look through old photos and journal entries, but found no evidence of a previous trip. He was confused and unsure if he had been there before or if it just felt that way because he had always wanted to visit.

He suddenly remembered a dream he had had as a child, where he was in that exact same place, watching that exact same street performer. He realized that his dream had been so vivid and real that it had felt like a memory.

Feeling a sense of closure and contentment, he finished his trip, knowing that it was meant to be, whether it was his first time or not. He returned home with a sense of fulfillment, knowing that he had finally made it to the place he had always dreamed of ... Was I there?
