About The Witching hour

The Witching hour is a visual narrative project where readers can discover the secrets of their world building through clues in the form of confidential cards.

Each card has a part of the story hidden in the form of a riddle, the more pieces have their riddles revealed the story expands and unfolds. Only by paying attention to the details and mythical origins of these creatures will the secrets be revealed. Each card is lovingly handcrafted, no AI was used in the production of the entire drop.

About Leo Acebey

Leonardo Acebey is an illustrator, comic artist and game dev from La Paz, Bolivia.

His work is characterized by combination and mutation be it in a technical way fusing different types of multimedia or his concepts that touch on multiculturalism and complex syncretism inspired by his experience as a third culture child in Bolivia. He also recently won best indie game designer of the year 2023.

As a graphic storyteller his aesthetic inspiration revolves around color and impact similar to the work of artists such as Mike Mignola (Hellboy), Jamie Hewlett (Tank Girl), Atsushi Ohkubo (Soul eater).
