The walls that hold us

"THE WALLS THAT HOLD US"

As an artist, I have always been fascinated by the theme of ageing and the passage of time. It is a subject that speaks deeply to my own complex emotions about growing older and the many changes that come with it. Through my art, I explore the symbol of houses as a metaphor for the human mind and the complex emotions that come with the ageing process. For me, houses represent not just physical structures, but also the accumulation of knowledge and experience that comes with a life well-lived. They are symbols of safety and comfort, places where we can retreat to find solace in our own thoughts and memories.

But at the same time, houses can also be symbols of fear and anxiety, as we confront the darker aspects of our own minds and the memories that haunt us.
