Skateboards by Bill Barminski

Barminski is an internationally renowned artist whose art has been featured in Banksy’s Dismaland, Beyond the Streets, and The Cleveland Orchestra. His art spans across a wide range of mediums including painting, sculpture, animation, and video - though his cardboard sculptures that focus on white forms with pinstripe outlines to convey the notion of three dimensional drawings have become an iconic symbol of his work.

About the Collection

For his genesis collection on Nifty Gateway, Barminski has created three unique skateboards sculptures. Each NFT is a 3-D model created based on a corresponding skateboard that has been handmade from cardboard and hand painted. Top bidders of each ranked auction will win one of these skateboards, while all other bidders will receive other physical rewards. Barminski’s cardboard art is owned and has been featured by beloved skaters such as Tony Hawk and Eric Kosten.

The collection consists of 3 Ranked Auctions that will be open for one hour only beginning at 6:30P ET. Minimum bid increase is $10 for 76er and Huffy, minimum bid increase is $5 for Boozy. For every bid made in the last five minutes of the auction, the timer will add an additional five minutes to the clock.
