Shinyuu 親友

This collection is about friendship, deep friendships and how they are cultivated. Shinyuu (親友 / しんゆう) means best friend, someone close and intimate with you, I tried to represent in this work as a cat and a boy, this boy cultivated his friendship with the cat since he was little and lost. A friend is someone represented and tested by time in the way you treat and talk to each other, if that doesn't change, the affection for the two of you will always be the same.

The boy I used as a reference someone close to me and like those who have been with me for almost a year I use visual references from old photographs or memories of my day to day to do my work. I did it with lines that were not so firm and more scribbled, I wanted to leave something closer to a childish and affective memory.

I love cats, I am currently an advocate and help shelters close to me with my earnings, I believe these are seeds and these cats will go into someone's home someday and will make memories and create bonds that I believe I was at some point a part of.

Shinyuu (親友) is about affection and creating memories with the one you love.
