This drop is a homage to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante (aka MACA), one of this Spanish city leading cultural venues. On the occasion of an IRL exhibition of crypto-art in Altea (Alicante), NFTMania is curating a digital art expo chosen 3 local artists challenged them to version their favourite works from one of Alicante's reference museums: These artists (Aerovi Aerovi, Mina Power and Raquel Casilda) have chosen their favourite pieces to pay tribute to this wonderful cultural centre in Spain, ¨el MACA¨.
The collection is open from 4 to 6 May, starting and ending at 18.00 EDT, it consists of 5 digital works with 3 Limited Editions and 2 Open Editions. For more info about the conceptualization, read the information below.
All 3 artists are recognized in the Crypto Art space and beyond, plus they are linked with the museum of contemporary art of Alicante (MACA)
Mina Power
is an artist based in Alicante, working both in 2D and 3D. Her style has a naive air with a vibrant colour palette. She enjoys playing with textures, patterns and hiding messages in her work. Since she is a fan of fantasy and science fiction, you will find creatures and out of this world objects in her work.
Aerovi Aerovi
is a conceptual artist based in Murcia with Alicante roots. She enjoys playing with different materials and media, from collage to painting, and even mirrors and actions. Her main focus is the artistic expression of her soul, using the best media and technique to convey the message she intends.
Raquel Casilda
is a fine artist and illustrator, based between Alicante and London. Her style features detailed and delicate images with a recurrent female presence as well as some surreal touches. She loves making people feel light, inspired and peaceful with her art, taking them to a place of contemplation, fantasy and beauty.
