According to Xatinian folklore, pylshos appear above venomous creatures that just mated and refuse to break their physical contact. They float a few seconds and watch the scene with their 48 eyes until the animals break appart, then leave.
A nukopyl will materialize where a venomous creature changed skins, in this case a snake. They sometimes try to pick up the old skin but they do not have the strenght to do that. when they give up, they disappear.
Research done of these entities was done by mexican neurscientist Dr. Vicente Ventura in the Xatinian Islands, an archipielago in the pacific ocean where the Xatin Civilization lived until english colonizers murdered their population.
The islands are notable for having the ultra-rare compound Xatyne, a bright natural radiactive material that can levitate by itself, looks like colored plastic and smells like grapefruit, or mango, depending on the hour of day.
