Psychocurrencies is a book of crypto horrors'! With these pieces I want to form a dark history for crypto. A kind of gloomy myth that hugs all the fears, anger and stubbornness of this great journey! I also want these tokens to include my own existential agony and my own reaction to the world's troubles at this moment! To bring the "special effects" that this "movie" needs to come alive! I am walking in this alley with you! Bringing traditional art to digital with a strong sense of the materials. Whatever happens, my art will always be here haunting the blockchain!
Yorgis Kordonis -It was in 2014, that he began working with lenses to capture the detail of his paintings, in a subjective photographic approach. An unusual consequence occurred, in which the photographs themselves allowed for a completely new perspective to transpire. Through years of experimentation, Yorgis has cultivated a totally unique creative process which combines physical painting with assemblage and sculptural elements, lighting, unconventional photographic angles and macro lenses. Through this process, a deeper layer of meaning emerges, measured in infinite millimeter projections. In the artist's own words: "I want my art to make a noise like a terrified animal when being backed into a corner, amidst a crisis, with no escape"
