Kalyan was born in the United States to an Indian father and American mother and grew up between Wisconsin and his father's native country. Each one of Kalyan's works is about the destructive nature of the human condition.

For Kalyan’s first drop with Nifty Gateway he has created a digital edition from one of his epic works 'Jackson Pollocks Fucking Cigarette'. The work consists of 7 panels that contrasts the purity of creation with mankind’s propensity for war, that carries through into our religions and even our entertainment.
