MILKY WAY COLLECTION is a series of abstract paintings that deal with different stars and planets of our galaxy. For Arregium, art is a space where our inner and outer realities come together in the same stream of life. In this sense, each piece in the Milky Way Collection is painted with vibrant strokes and expressive colors that take us to artistic territories between surrealist reverie and abstract expressionism. Each work is part of a dreamlike Galaxy that wants to connect with the inner child within us, who still looks at our universe with wonder, surprise, and intense creativity. The Milky Way Collection digital paintings have been developed by Arregium exclusively for the Nifty Gateway platform. In the present drop, Arregium offers four colorful and energetic works listed as Open Editions and Limited Editions to encourage a wide reception of his work.
Arregium- is a Chilean artist and poet studying art theory and history, cultural management, and curatorship, born in Santiago de Chile and based in Aysén, Chilean Patagonia. For years he has been dedicated to visual art and writing through different projects in his country and the region where he lives. He has participated in several exhibitions both locally and internationally. The colors, shapes, and textures of the southern Patagonian landscape are one of the main inspirations for his work. Another important source of inspiration is his dreams and inner experiences; his art constantly searches for an expressive zone where "subject" and "object" are united in the same creative act. His abstract work is linked to expressionism and surrealism, with an intense poetic component. Since the beginning of 2021, Arregium has focused his career as a digital artist in the NFT art space. His work has been minted and collected on various blockchains and platforms.
