This collection name plays on the association of the colour orange with mandarin oranges, and highlights the clean, uncluttered style of the illustrations set in different environments with different activities such as cinema, shopping area and other public places. I believe simple , minimalistic art has a unique and strong aesthetics and I hope to bring joy and inspiration to those who view it.

This art style of visual art emphasises simplicity and uses a limited palette of colours, shapes, and forms. It seeks to reduce an image or composition to its most essential elements, often resulting in a clean, uncluttered, and pared-down aesthetic. Also it strips away unnecessary details and present a simple, elegant image or composition that is powerful in its understated simplicity.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Aadrika is an architect, a digital artist and an animator. Most of her work is influenced by nature, her surroundings and people around her at that moment. She believes that creativity is something that comes from within and cannot be taught. She went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error and self learning studying the works of some of the famous artists and architects as her mentor. It was here that she furthered expanded on her knowledge in art and design.
