The Action Series by Lyle Owerko

Lyle Owerko is a renowned Los Angeles and New York based photographer, filmmaker and self-professed 'pop-culture junkie' Lyle began his career as the photographer who captured the horrific events of 9/11. He has continued documenting our modern age through his art. The main project he has worked on throughout his career is 'The Boombox Project'. Over the years, Lyle has created various prints and renderings of boomboxes and has been collected by the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and many more. His second collection on Nifty Gateway takes us back to the 1980's as Lyle reminisces of his time growing up and getting lost in arcade games. He poured those memories into his collection with many arcade and 'game-like' themes.
