Digital Shaman by Lans King

Earth, water, air, fire, plasma, æther, void. These are the seven “elements” that inspire this collection: From matter to nothingness, from figuration to abstraction, from the real to the imagined… According to anthropologists, the shaman was the first artist. Through trance, they traveled to spiritual dimensions, returning with visions that they rendered onto the walls of their deepest caverns. Some believe that digital art lacks the spirituality of physical art. However, freed from the limitations of the material world, perhaps the digital shaman will attain new levels of transcendence …and leave their marks on the surfaces of virtual caverns…

Collecting the set: The Capsule Any collector who acquires the full set of 7 NFTs will receive a special gift from Lans King. It is an NTAG 216 RFID microchip capsule, similar to the surgically implanted work of art in his hand. It will be delivered in a gem box. The capsule will be encoded with some of the information from his own implant and the crypto code for the NFT. Using the NFC scanner on an Android or iOS smartphone, the capsule will link to the NFT address and can be made to display the work on the screen.

Collecting the Digital Shaman capsule and the Digital Talisman The Digital Shaman capsule is a remix of all of the artworks in this collection. The collector who acquires this work, at an auction price of over $5000, will receive a rare object from Lans King. It is an NTAG 216 RFID microchip capsule, similar to the surgically implanted work of art in his hand.

The capsule will be mounted (by a jeweler in Paris) on strands of braided cable optic wire with white 14K gold fixtures (see mockup). The capsule will be encoded with information from Lans’ own implant, as well as the crypto code for the NFT. Using the NFC scanner on an Android or iPhone device, the capsule will link to the NFT hash code and can be made to display the work on the screen. Note: the chain can be worn, but it is not recommended as the glass capsule can shatter from the force of impact.
