The Manipulated NFT

"This project is J Shia's experiment in blending artistic mediums, as she creates different ways for us to engage with her art, while also providing real world utility, and a chance at winning the actual "The Manipulated" motorcycle."

Since I was a teenager, I have built custom motorcycles for dozens of customers. I would design and fit them to suit the customers aesthetic, body type, riding style, budget etc. This was my everyday job, yet I had never had a moment to build a bike for myself in my style. “The Manipulated" BSA was my first machine created that was a true expression of my own artistic taste and mechanical interests as a builder. This bike is riddled with many playful easter eggs, the most loved being the Boston sewer drain as a taillight, and an antique bolt cutter arm as a pull start, which was the mechanical modification that helped accelerate this project and my career. I connected with the amazing Mohsen Moradi to bring to life a bizarre dream I had of my motorcycle basically breaking its way, figuratively and literally into the world of fine art. Movie composer Daniel Davies created a beautiful original score that plays with the bike as it moves us through the piece.
