A series of generative artworks highlighting moments when our relationships shift.
Moments of unconscious or spontaneous realisation of different stages that mark our knowledge of each other from the fuzzy first snapshot that we perceive, and possibly project ourselves into, to a state of evolving familiarity.
Bassil Taleb is a Syrian-Turkish architect and artist creating generative art utilizing code to create abstractions of his experiences, thoughts and body. He started creating in 2011 and his early works were experiments in form, repetition, and the perception of movement. Those algorithmic sculptures represented a mended schism between a physical form and a desire for expression. Inspired by Theo Jansen's Strandbeests, he sees each of his creations as a living being and what you see as moments of their lives.
