Sterling Crispin is a conceptual artist that works between digital and physical objects. His concept-first approach results in a diverse body of work across a wide range of mediums and styles. Crispin’s artwork often depicts the conflicting stories we tell ourselves about the future. Are we going to merge our bodies with machines and become gods that live forever? Or will we face a global climate collapse and all go extinct? Somehow, we are moving towards both of these conclusions at once.
Crispin’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide, and in The NYT, Frieze, Wired, BOMB, Rhizome, ARTNews, Art in America, and Fast Company.
