Quint NFT's first collection on Nifty Gateway
Since the industrial revolution, humanity has been losing touch with nature. This process has been accelerated by the fast advancement of technology. Most people on earth are stuck in an urban environment longing for nature, only experiencing it through perfectly trimmed man-made parks, houseplants, and limited numbers of animals that are found in cities. In this collection, Gyula discovers the optical illusion we live in; somewhere between nature, urban environments, and virtual reality.
The original music and sound were composed by Ferenc Vaspoeri, a pioneer in central Europe's electronic music scene. The audio is a combination of electronic beats and soundscapes.
Gyula is the founder and creative director of Quint Studio. He studied freehand drawing and sculpting in Budapest and ventured into graphic design in 2004 in Dublin. He moved to Dubai in 2005 and founded Quint Studio in 2009. He has been working as a multidisciplinary designer and artist, with an emphasis on branding ever since. His clients span the globe and include some of the biggest names in their respective industries (Nike, Puma, Emirates Airlines, Unicef, Formula 1, Mini, FIFA). He has won some of the most prestigious awards in the industry including Cannes Lions, The One Show, and Dubai Lynx. Gyula was also the creative director and curator of Quint Magazine, a UAE-based arts&culture magazine that was the first of its kind in the region.
Ferenc started composing electronic music in the early 2000s following his studies of classical music and playing instruments. His compositions since then seen light on a variety of renowned labels, moreover he began showcasing his talent with live acts about the same time his first musical creations came out. His innovative style, enduring enthusiasm, and unique delivery built up his reputation of now being one of the most favourited electronic live act artists of his country - Hungary.
Ferenc Vaspoeri’s sounds touched upon a variety of musical genres over the past decade and still continue to form his individual style. His music is varied and very much up-to-date, uniquely filled with unusual tempo and style conversions. He creates a real ‘concert feel’ in his shows sustaining the audience’s full attention throughout. He expresses a unique harmony in his melodies that even catches the ears of listeners that aren’t used to electronic music. Electronica, house, more and more hip-hop, slick percussions, and acoustic instruments are all crucial elements of his jazzy, dubby, and, sometimes techy sounds born in the composer’s meditative or humorous moods. Vaspoeri is also happy to perform Dj sets on radio shows or at less dance floor-oriented evenings with a selection of music that inspired his own sounds.
He first entered the world of NFT with his work as a photographer, and then had the opportunity to use his music in the visual work of others such as Quint Studio.
