Declan is best known for his dramatic street photography that freezes a fleeting moment of his subjects' lives as they experience the sites and sounds of the world's biggest cities. For this series, Declan wanted to push in a new direction, while maintaining the core of his work - street photography. "A Glimpse Into the Past" recasts Declan's work by experimenting with settings and clothing that harken back to the past, giving us a glimpse of what Declan's work would have been if he had been shooting decades ago. It is street photography, portraiture, and conceptual photography all rolled into one series.
