GenSkulls is a tribute to CultCryptoArt, but it does it in a different way, using the Genimation technique, that is, animated generative art projected in three-dimensional elements. It consists of four animations in eternal loops.
The skull seems to be the most repetitive element in the NFT world, only comparable in number with the most famous PFPs. With its presence, death comes to life —what a paradox— and becomes part of the imaginary of the metaverse.
Genimation
Unlike more traditional forms of generative art, this collection is not based on a code specifically designed to produce lines or curves, but is the result of mixing several algorithms in which each one produces a predetermined type of graphics, which can not only be projected on two-dimensional planes, but also on three-dimensional volumes. The enormous advantage of this system is an infinity of variables that can be intermingled to give surprising results, always maintaining that wonderful characteristic of generative art of achieving unpredictable and surprising results.
ferdebuenArt
Graphic designer, illustrator, and animator (Mexico City, 1958) with more than 40 years of experience and some international awards. I am enthusiastic about art, but especially digital art in any of its forms, but always as a means of aesthetic, social, political, or human expression. The NFT world is a challenge to continue studying and learning the dizzying changes in technology and apply them to art to achieve a more intimate way of expressing myself. I am very proud to have my works in the galleries of some of the best collectors in the cryptoart world, such as @Vince_Van_Dough, @CozomoMedici, @punk6529, @basileus_eth, @cl7official, @6529Museum, @Cryptinish or the 6529 Fund (@punk6529, @krybharat and @batsoupyum, among others). Even prouder that new collectors joined this elite in the past stages.
Notice to collectors
Normally, in each issue, I keep for my own collection one minted copy of each issue but, in this case, caused by an unfortunate mistake, NG minted for me two copies of each issue instead of one. To solve this in an interesting way, I have made two decisions: first, if by chance, my copy corresponds to the number 1 of the series, upon request I will gladly exchange it with whoever purchased number 2; second, each of my second copies will be given free of charge to the first three collectors who mint three of them (and let me know by TL or DM). Of course, the first buyer would have a great advantage over the rest.
Thank you so much.
