About Artist - I am a curious person and therefore lucky. I am attracted to details and shapes,especially organic shapes. This made me choose undergraduate studies in Biology. The academic environment,however,was never too creative,and so I moved on to capturing forms through photography.Even here,however,I soon found limitations and was not fully realized.Then,in the early 2000s I seriously embraced 3d modeling and rendering,a love that began many years earlier,at the tender age of 16 on an Amiga 500 computer.Since then 34 years have passed,but the desire and wonderment have remained the same. My research relies heavily on digital sculpture,the creation of complex materials and the composition of the final image,often rendered at resolutions up to 10K.The pleasure of managing and controlling each step until the finished work is priceless. I like to think that in my entirely 3d-based creative process I am initially a sculptor (forms)then a painter/designer (materials) and finally a photographer (final render)
