FIGURA VOLANTE is Carrie Able’s second exclusive NFT drop with Nifty Gateway as part of her 2022 solo exhibition DALL'ANIMA, on view in Personal Structures: Reflections with the European Cultural Centre, during the 59th Venice Biennale. This drop features a unique metaverse kinetic sculpture, supported by augmented reality in the present, with the capability to be placed in public and private collections in the metaverse of the future. Collection of the limited 8/8 edition is exclusively open to holders of works by Carrie Able.

Collecting one of the Open Edition works SOAR, ASCEND, and RAPTURE will unlock the ability to collect FIGURA VOLANTE. The piece depicts three of Able’s iconic figures in flight. A key element in Able’s Biennale exhibition, the volumetric files have been 3D printed into a physical installation of 40 suspended sculptural works. In December 2022, one edition holder of FIGURA VOLANTE will be selected at random to be airdropped an exclusive 1/1 NFT, and shipped the entire physical sculptural installation, directly from Venice, Italy.
