Darel is a visual artist based in Los Angeles, known for his optical art using lines to shape and bend the perceived dimensions of a surface or a space. His art has been featured internationally and across the US in galleries, museums, and projects with Google, Adidas, Cadillac, Equinox, American Express, and more. Darel is fascinated by natural patterns, emergence, psychology, and our visual understanding of the world around us. Darel is returning to Nifty Gateway for his second collection. He will be featuring 3 animated works using his traditional style of parallel and visually stimulating line patterns. We are incredibly excited to have Darel back on the platform!
This series is titled Natural Currents. Each piece is a dimensional abstraction of flows in nature: radiate, charge, and ripple.
