Salvador Dalí was a Spanish artist who became one of the most famous painters of the 20th century. An extremely imaginative artist, narcissistic and megalomaniac , self-obsessed and angry. He liked to attract public attention. He believed in himself and his abilities. Considered a neurotic, perverse and crazy artist. But none of this bothered him in the least. Dalí in his works showed ideas that haunted him throughout his life. They were the passage of time or immortality.
Dalí said that time is personal. For Dalí, watches represent the memory that ends at some point in your life. If you don't take care of your memory and keep warming it with the constant memories of the past, at some point it will run out... it will melt. In The Persistence of Memory, everything is fleeting and time is relative. Only the landscape and the work of Dalí survive. Beneath one of the melted clocks is the profile of a distorted human face. And we will be able to observe the 3 works on Salvador Dalí:
- DALÍ : THE PERSISTENCE OF MEMORY
- DALÍ AVIATOR
- DALÍ SOLDIER
