Welcome to Canto a ELIZA, the NFT art collection that commemorates the apparition of the first conversational bot program ELIZA created by Joseph Weizenbaum in 1966, known as the earliest and pioneer software that explores the idea of learning machine and artificial intelligence.
Amparuche team decided to make a curated collection as a tribute to this technology. The collection came from a collaborative experience between the members using the AI as a tool imbricated within the creative process from each artist. Our method is based on the intervention of both: manual creation process and generative algorithms to create art, each NFT is the result of a previous intervention from an initial artwork until finished with the interpretation from an AI software program previously trained. Our goal is to show that AI technology, algorithms, and creative software are necessary tools for the development of creative processes inside artist practices.
PRICE CONCEPT
The price is not a random number in our collection, the 36 makes reference to the page number of the first publication in which the AI ELIZA was presented to an academic environment. Published: 1 January 1966 by its creator Joseph Weizenbaum, in the essay ELIZA—a computer program for the study of natural language communication between man and machine in the Computational Linguistic book, pag 36.
Carlos Mondeja-has been working since 2011 as an Artist, Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Art Director both as a freelancer and in various companies in Cuba, the United States and currently in Spain. He has always maintained his connection with illustration as a way of expressing his ideas and enjoys collaborating with like-minded creators. He also has experience in WEB3 and NFT creating collections and 1/1 art on the Ethereum network and exhibiting his work in the UK, Spain and the US. He researches and explores different artistic techniques so he has a multidisciplinary profile. He currently works for the fashion ecommerce FOOTDISTRICT. Currently living in Madrid.
Ana Regina-has been working since 2015 as an Artist, Graphic Designer and Art Director in various advertising agencies in Cuba and Spain. In recent years, she has returned to her first love, illustration and collage and enjoys collaborating with like-minded creators. He also has experience with WEB3 and NFT selling his own work on the Ethereum network and exhibiting his work in UK, Spain and USA. She researches and explores different artistic techniques so she has a multidisciplinary profile. For the last 3 years she has been working for the women's fashion magazine SMODA, published by the newspaper El País. She currently lives in Madrid.
Aissa Santiso-is a Cuban artist who has exhibited her work in Spain, Cuba, and the United States. Driven in part by studies on personal and collective memory, she investigates and represents everyday situations, as well as their recorded forms: family photographs, film archives, books. Her profile covers various disciplines within the visual arts such as video art, video installation, software art, new media art. She has participated in several exhibitions in his career as an independent artist and collectives in the metaverse such as VBӨӨƬ – LATAM exhibition at 6529 Museum District in oncyber, Goat Studio NFT Art exhibition at Blockchain Futurist Conference, Canada and NFT Liverpool International Art Fest. First NFT Festival in Liverpool, England, among others. She currently lives and works in Madrid.
Riogerz Martinez-is a Cuban artist that started in the nft space in February of 2021. His training in fine arts and experience working as a tattoo artist has helped him develop a very unique style as a digital artist. Founder of the Amparuche NFT collection, he participates in different events such the NFT Liverpool International Art Fest in 2022, LATAM exhibition at 6529 Museum District, the first exhibitions of the Cuban NFT Community in oncyber and others. His artworks is an expression of his influences in both art and technology.
