Bobby Jones: The Great Collaboration - Masters Edition

Celebrating Bobby Jones' role in founding Augusta National & The Masters Tournament

Golfing legend Bobby Jones didn't only demonstrate his incredible brilliance as the foremost amateur champion. As his amateur playing career came to a close, Mr. Jones settled in the Atlanta area and, along with a group of investors, purchased land in Augusta, Georgia, that would go on to become Augusta National Golf Club. Moreover, in 1934 he co-founded the "Augusta National Invitational", a tournament we all know today as The Masters.

Offered in this collection are artist Christopher "CR" Obetz's reimagination of four iconic images of Mr. Jones at Augusta National: two illustrations from Anthony Ravielli's collaboration with Mr. Jones and two photographs from the Jones family's private archive. The green and yellow color palate featured in these works accentuates Bobby Jones' iconic swing and love of the game, and evokes the unique sensations of April in Augusta.
