Beltane 23

Beltane, also known as May Day, is a celebration of the arrival of summer, fertility, and the beauty of nature. It is the initiation of OMBRUJA, and the welcoming of abundance in the connection to our physical and spiritual bodies.

Starting May 1st and throughout the first half of May with a peak during the Flower Full Moon 05/05 halfway between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. Beltane is a time of fertility and abundance. It is a time of renewal, growth and manifestation to connect with the energy of the earth and the natural world, and to honor the cycles of nature. It is also a time to celebrate the union of the divine masculine and feminine energies, as symbolized by the Maypole dance.

As the earth bursts forth with new life and the veil between worlds grow thin, we honor the magic and beauty of the natural world with bonfires, flower crowns, and dancing around the Maypole. It is a time to celebrate love, fertility and the infinite possibilities of new beginnings.
