This work dedicated/tells about The Princess who wearing red dress in the middle of work. Her name is Augusta of Prussia.
Augusta of Prussia, born Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Amalia of Prussia (1780–1841), was a member of the Prussian royal family and the first German Empress consort. She was the wife of Wilhelm I, the first German Emperor and King of Prussia. Augusta played a significant role in shaping the political landscape of Germany during her husband's reign.
Born on July 1, 1780, Augusta was the daughter of Frederick William II of Prussia and Frederika Louisa of Hesse-Darmstadt. She married Wilhelm, who was then the Prince of Prussia, in 1806. The couple had eight children, including their eldest son, Frederick III, who succeeded his father as Emperor.
Augusta was known for her liberal and progressive views, which influenced her husband's policies. She supported education, arts, and sciences, and was involved in various charitable activities. Augusta also played an active role in diplomacy, representing Prussia on official visits and forging alliances with other European powers.
After the establishment of the German Empire in 1871, Augusta became the first German Empress consort. However, her husband's reign as Emperor was short-lived. Wilhelm I passed away in 1888, and their son, Frederick III, succeeded him but ruled for only 99 days before his death. Their grandson, Wilhelm II, then became the German Emperor.
Augusta of Prussia died on June 19, 1841, at the age of 60. She left a lasting legacy as a prominent figure in Prussian and German history, known for her progressive ideals and contributions to education and culture.
