Here presented collection is highly compressed ASCII files. ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) is the most common character encoding format for text data in computers and the internet. Standard ASCII-encoded data has unique values for 128 alphabetic, numeric, or special additional characters and control codes. The artist's process starts from this simple code and then compresses the ASCII file. You see the result: from a raw ASCII, Hypepulse refines the artwork more and more, following a complex handmade process. First, he draws the image, transforms it into an ASCII file with a proprietary complex algorithm, and compresses it sixty consecutive times. The process is very complicated, all handmade, and the artist uses no AI to reach this unbelievably high-quality image starting from the basic ASCII image.
