Acceptance- Dear friend, before you is a series of photographs of the acceptance of Self. For centuries, the naked body has been a cause for shame and denial. The disconcerting, uncovered skin finally becomes part of a woman, and the body, which was supposed to be ashamed, becomes an inalienable nature. At last, the photographer's lens captures the peculiarities of a woman's individuality: curves, birthmarks; the joy of the moment; the freedom to be yourself, to accept yourself. Marat Safin's series are not about the vulgar naked female bodies, they are about a subtle, vulnerable soul, sounding in unison with the outer appearance. In the works you can feel every girl, simple and sincere as an art form. Acceptance of Self, that is art.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Marat Safin-I am a nude photographer shooting on film and digital. My concept is realism, minimal editing, natural beauty, no retouching or local editing. The beauty of the girls inspires me to take pictures.
